Greece, The Temple Of Zeus

Dedicated to Olympian Zeus, the temple had a long history of construction. First commissioned by the Peisistratids (6th c. BCE) and completed by the emperor Hadrian (2nd c. CE), the temple was believed by some to be one of the few worthy of Zeus.
