Italy, Capitoline Hill

One of the first hills of Rome, the Capitoline had some of the most impressive monuments in Rome such as the ancient monumental temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus, the oldest large temple in Rome. This hub of ancient Rome grew over the centuries to become a religious cult that overlooked the city.
